The interior is a bit "out there" but I would reserve further comment on that until seeing it in person.

#2, the Liberty is real nice. I find it interesting that it is an all 12v coach, no 24v. While this sounds like a fantastic thing to an old BB guy like me, I don't know how it translates to the systems in a Prevost? Any thoughts?

Jim,
As they produce newer models, the systems continue to be upgraded with newer technologies especially the electrical/electronics.
I could do with a little less complications on my bus especially the Crestron System.

David (Sparky) can explain the advantages of the 24VDC systems better than I can. I would just say the 12v system in the '96 was obviously designed and engineered to work ok in that bus.

I know you are interested in a 40'er but unless you have a specific reason why a 45'er won't work for you, I wouldn't rule out looking at a 45' bus. As far as drivability is concerned, you would hardly see any difference compared to a 40' bus. You would be amazed at how much more usability there is in a 45' bus. Also, the marketplace is much larger and selection is much better.

Choosing a converter really depends on whether you plan to do the needed maintenance and repairs yourself or depend upon the converter and Prevost to keep your bus maintained. If you are your own mechanic, then the converter is less important to the extent that the conversion was done properly. You still have Prevost service centers to help you with the bus related issues.

I do many of the easy and simple maintenance chores on my bus but depend on Prevost and Marathon to do the heavy stuff. Marathon is my choice of converters for several reason. Their quality is first rate. They have service facilities strategically located across the country. They have 24hr emergency contacts if you need help. And they are fine people to do business with.

P.S. there's a 40' (looks like a 40'?) on EBay for sale http://www.ebay.com/itm/motorhome-Prevos...2335699999
