Powertech Coolant Temps
Hi folks,

What Powertech coolant temps do you see with a fairly heavily loaded genny on a 100 deg f day? I'm seeing 205 deg F. This is with four ACs running plus just about everything else the kids can turn on, figure 40 to 50A per leg. At what temp does the Kubota shutdown?

That's higher than the highest I've seen which was about 190. Of course, my load was far less than yours. I think the shutdown switch is set for 220.

RE: Powertech Coolant Temps
Thanks CC_Guy,

That's how my Wanderlodge ran, but it only had three ACs. We load it up. My ancient plasma TVs suck a lot of power. The Kubota draws intake air from within the enclosure. It should be rerouted to outside ambient air. That might make a big difference.
