Headlamps
Guys,

My OEM headlamps suck. I desperately need an upgrade. On my LXi I installed these, but I'd probably go bi-xenon now: http://www.rallylights.com/hl68140-hella...-beam.html, and http://www.rallylights.com/hella-90mm-xe...-beam.html.

Here's a set of choices: http://www.rallylights.com/all/headlamps/l/90mm-module.

I don't know what the state of the art is. Perhaps LED headlamps can be fitted: https://www.jwspeaker.com/products/bus-l...-model-90/

Ideas, preferences?

I've been thinking of upgrading my hi-low sealed beam square headlamp assembly to the newer upgraded round 90MM assembly. That replacement assembly complete with the bezels cost $1600 plus a $500 core charge.

RE: Headlamps
Ernie, there are choices out there for you too: https://www.jwspeaker.com/products/led-h...evolution/. Here it is with a bezel; it's a good looking lamp:

Chuck, for whatever reason I thought you already installed the 90mm bezel kit. Maybe we just talked about it. In any case, I'd op for the kit but with LED 90mm headlights. From what I'm seeing online they sip power, they put out a broad beam of uniform light, they have an absence of hot spots, and the prices are good and coming down. It's definitely the future.

Is this a replacement for the current XL and XL2 with the same foot print?

Yes it is Hish. They're rated best in the 5"X7" headlight category and have a lifetime warranty.

Ernie, they used to cost about $600 each, but can now be found for around $225 including shipping, so prices are dropping.

Here it is at $360, but I think you can get it cheaper: https://www.theretrofitsource.com/jw-spe...t-5x7.html

RE: Headlamps
Are those a direct replacement for the XL-II and fit in the factory adjustment cans? If I still had my XL, I was going the adapt that very light to an XL. Their own adjustment can includes an outer bezel that might make the adaptation pretty easy.
