Correct Procedure to Reboot Your TechLink Computer
If you have a Marathon coach that is equipped with the Techlink-Techlon System, you may occasionally need to reboot the Techlink computer.

Many of the converter installed electrically operated items such as the house lights, tank monitors, water pump, heaters, air conditioners and more are controlled by the Techlink-Techlon System. Invariably, it will fail to operate one or more of the items it controls. A reboot will usually solve the issue but not always.

Although some of the switch locations shown below may differ on your coach depending on year and model, the procedure should remain the same. Here's the correct procedure for rebooting the Techlink computer:

TECHLINK COMPUTER HARD REBOOT

1) Turn off generator power or shore power at main circuit breaker in 2nd driver side bay

2) Turn off (rotate left) 12V & 24V battery switches inside right engine bay door

3) Turn off (rotate left) (2) 24V main inverter switches in 3rd driver’s side bay on ceiling

Wait 5 minutes

4) Turn on (rotate right) (2) 24V main inverter switches in 3rd driver’s side bay on ceiling

5) Turn on (rotate right) 12V & 24V battery switches inside right engine bay door

6) Turn on generator power or shore power at main circuit breaker in 2nd driver side bay

7) Start both inverters by selecting ON at each inverter LED dial by pressing the right side down arrow to move underline to ON

Inverters will go directly to bulk charge (green & orange) for about 2 hours and then they will automatically go to float (green & green) LEDS on front panel.

I had a Legendary here for floors. There was a computer touch screen on dash that did what you mentioned, Chuck. I wonder if it is the same device?

RE: Correct Procedure to Reboot Your TechLink Computer
Assuming your batteries are fully topped off and assuming you have a Trace SW inverter like Chuck's, you can pop the inverters out of the bulk charging phase by:

1) simultaneously pressing the red (on/off menu button) and the green (gen menu button), this will get you into the inverter setup menu,
2) press the "Menu Headings" button to navigate to menu number 9, and again simultaneously depress the red and green buttons, this will pop you into the extended setup menus,
3) menu 10 is the "Battery Charging" menu,
4) press the "Menu Items" button to navigate to "Set Absorption Time",
5) press the "Set Points" buttons to set the Absorption time to 00:00:00, you'll see the yellow bulk led turn off and the green float led turn on,
6) once the float led illuminates, be sure to use the "Set Points" buttons to restore the Absorption time.

Ernie,

Several converters have a similar computerized low voltage system which controls most of the house functions in their later model conversions. I'm not sure which system Legendary used.
