How tall is an H3-45 VIP?
My bus measures 13' 4" to the top of the KVH dome. The next tallest roof protrusion is the VHF/UHF antenna which comes in at 12' 10.5", and the aluminum roof surface measures in at 12' 4". Hope this helps anyone trying to adapt an existing garage/building or build a new facility. This is with the air suspension at ride height.

RE: How tall is an H3-45 VIP?
Thank you. I am looking to modify my barn. I have 13'2" now at the door and 13'6" once inside. I could easily change to roll up doors and make the opening match the 13'6" inside clearance. I agree that 12' 4" looks correct for the height to the top of a standard H3 without anything else sticking up such as roof vents, antennas, or sat domes. The coach I was looking at measured 13' 0" to the top of the sat dome so I would think I'm be more than safe with a new door.
My question is, what about dumping the suspension air? Pros/cons? How much clearance would be gained? |

You can't forget to keep it low when you get ready to leave the barn. I own a 2003 Liberty H345 and thinking of selling, if you interested please call me I can email pics of the coach. 248-935-5390 |
