Hi Ernie,

Tell me if I'm nuts. I'd really like my flooring material to be unfinished. Here's a good selection of unfinished engineered boards: https://www.hoskinghardwood.com/Hardwood...srID=28353

With all the kiddos dropping things and generally beating up the floor I'd really like to be able to do spot repairs. If the floor is finished by me, including hand sanding, using something like European Hardening Oil then I'd be able to fix minor blemishes, Plus, there's nothing like an oiled floor. Sometimes the prefinished stuff can look plastic. Oiled floors are very authentic looking. Thoughts?
