RE: Cruisairs- the saga continues
Folks,

There is a drop in replacement for the standard Cruisair compressor, AK8515EXA, that will work fine in our systems, it's the AKA5512EXA. It's readily available and the price is good:

Ernie, How did you make out with your cruise air situation ? I also have cruise airs so a trip to your neighborhood might be needed, if that is where you handled the situation ?

sounds like a plan Ernie . Ours are working but they are 9 years old so I imagine there days are numbered . I do not wait till air condition brakes to fix, lol I need cold air to sleep . We open windows in the winter and use blankets during the summer Smile

If you're ever in the neighborhood stop by to see Fred at AAP. He'll clean them and bring the charge to the perfect level. At only 9 years, you should have plenty of life in your units.

Glad I don't have to put up with Cruisair I would rather put up with noisy roof air than any Liberty A/C any day and the nice thing I am done with motor homes. It is no fun to dump $+ every a time I visited Prevost repair shop.
Al is you Prevost coach converted by?

she is a Vantare Hish and at least the Prevost will work on this coach . I was turned away with the Bird at more than 1 Prevost Repair shop . I would get upset with Erika when she would call and say it was a RV lol

RE: Cruisairs- the saga continues
Had some time off last week. I went over to Marathon as they stated they worked on Cruisairs.
I talked to their service manager, Gary Vincent. I told him the issue I was having and made the mistake stating that it was on a Liberty. He took me into his office and not once, but twice asked if I was going to buy a Marathon. I told him my wife liked the coach.
He then hemmed and hawed about working on Cruisairs and said it was 10 years ago they worked on them and then they had to send them out. He took his notebook out and flipped the page and took my contact information down. I think that page was to remind him to not call me. Which he has not.
I have the coach at Christian Martinez' shop while he works on my Cruisairs.
Guess I should have worn a suit.
I just made an appointment with Prevost for level 3 service- treated me like a king- dirty clothes and all.
