RE: 99 Marathon XL 40
Robert,

We hope your journey in the new 40 becomes as enjoyable as ours. We purchased coach 557 last year with roughly 78K. We're about 91K now. The coach was originally ordered by someone that we believe had 5 previous Marathon conversions leading up to this one. They had some very good insight into what they wanted, which included lots of storage. Subsequent owner installed solar and propane gas cooking to allow greater flexibility when dry glamping, and that has also made the quick overnight on the road very enjoyable while minimizing the genset. I generally do all our repairs and maintenance, so maybe we'll be able to share information with the coaches being close in age and size. Several little nuances that I've researched and overcome including part numbers for the tank bubblers and associated pressure sensors, Norgren valve spool replacements etc. Previous owner was 6'7" and had a California king installed. We're preparing to change back to a queen more like the original floor plan and put the rear storage cabinets back in. Some fabric changes and updates in the salon as well as we assess some options.

Enjoy the ride.
