Sorry to hear of your misfortune David. Hopefully the New Year will be better! Is the bus repaired now? Love to see some pictures of it if it is! Does this mean we get to crack a bottle of champagne to Christen Spongebob again?

Well at least you have a repair facility to take it to. If this had happened with your LXi you would be scrounging for parts and working knowledge!

Hey Gary,

Great to year from you. Nope, the bus isn't done yet. DMRV has several big jobs ahead of mine. At least I have a place in the queue and they should be getting to it soon. They did order two new basement doors. A lot of the other fiberglass bits are repairable. While it's there and while the can of paint is open I'm having them respray the front and rear bumpers and peel the 3M off the front and make the required repairs to the paint. Basically, we're going over the entire bus. The results should be stellar. I'll definitely post pics. Hey, I may make a trip to the Pacific Northwest this summer. If so I'll give you a ring!

David, How did SpongBob turn out ? Did you go for the new front Cap they seem to be doing to every H out there ? Turns out I was there the day before you arrived . I was in the drooling phase back then

Too bad I missed you Al. It would've been great to spend some time. It's been too long. Spongebob isn't done yet. Thankfully it's not my travel season so I'm not really missing out. They do great work, and great things take time, so I'm patient. Nope, no new clips for me. I like the look of what I have. Frankly I like the look of the four windshield bus too, and if I had one of those I'd keep the clips. I guess I'm not really into making vintage look brand new. Each has their own beauty. Still... would've been great to see you!

As I think about it a rally can just be a campground you plan to visit with some advance notice , now how difficult can that be . No need to go all out and plan , spontaneous I say , that's how we roll after all is it not ?
