I got some clarification on the import rule for conversions coming into Canada, apparently the "15 years or older" exemption supersedes the other other regulations. So Country Coach, Vantare etc. are allowed into Canada as long as they are 15 years old or older.

Ernie, I think Royale and Liberty are at opposite ends of the spectrum. Royale is Wanderlodge-like with simple residential home 120V interior switches and no house automation.

Liberty on the other hand, is steeped in house automation based on Crestron and implemented with a healthy dose of Allen Bradley programmable logic controllers.

One of the above is shade-tree-mechanic accessible.

Chuck,

That's a beautiful Royale. It's got all the goods too, two SW2512 inverters, aquahot, roof airs, 8D batteries, and a 17.5KW powertech; although, I much prefer a stacker washer and dryer. The new honecomb blinds should help quite a bit with insulating the windows given that the XL doesn't have dual pane windows. The only issue with the XL is parts availability, after all, the newest XL is now 18 years old. The blond interior reminds me of my LXi - beautiful. My only pet peeve is what Panterra does to their engines. They detail them with all the wrong colors. You can always tell a coach that was sold by Panterra. Sigh...

Chuck- that is a nice looking coach. It has all the requirements we like. I have my bird on rvtrader, rvonline, rvt, as of yesterday am. Hope she sells so we can move on.
I looked at a Liberty at Legacy- lots of issues with that one

While looking for our next bus I came across this one.

I'm thinking what we are after may not exist, a ' 40 Royale with a private bath and S-60. But it sure is fun looking.

Kevin

Kevin- that look like a 40 to me

Ernie,

Yup, it's a '40, and a nice one at that, but it has a pass thru bath, which won't work for us. If a pass thru would work I know a nice WB I'd be looking at……

I've been talking to the owner, sounds like a real nice coach unfortunately my Bird remains unsold at this point.
