This comes up from time to time. Attached is a Prevost drawing showing the approach, departure, and ramp over angles allowable before bottoming out the coach. This is for a 45' XLII; the wheelbase on the drawing is incorrect. Anyway, this gives you an idea of how to do the calculations for any bus. SAE J689 has been cancelled, but you can find definitions in SAE J1100.
